Podiatrists are degree-trained, specialist clinicians who have undertaken 3 years of training to diagnose and treat all foot and ankle complaints.
What is the difference between a Chiropodist and a Podiatrist?
Strictly speaking, there is no difference between a Chiropodist and a Podiatrist. The title “Chiropodist” is being fazed out, with the title “Podiatrist” replacing it. All Podiatrists are regulated by the Health & Care Professional Council (HCPC), so you can check to ensure your Podiatrist is HCPC registered.
What should I wear to my appointments?
Please wear something comfortable and that enables us to access feet and ankles easily.
How much will my treatment cost?
Cost, including details of our treatments and length of appointment, can be found on our treatment page.
Do I need to bring anything with me to my appointments?
Please bring an up-to-date list of prescribed medicines to your appointment. We also ask you to remove any nail varnish to allow us to accurately access and treat your nails. Please remember to bring your face mask!
Will I be able to drive after my appointment?
We advise that you don’t drive for 24 hours for our minor surgery appointments due to the use of local anesthetic. For further information please contact your driving insurance provider.
